LONDON, 15th October 2026 – Noah, the stablecoin payments infrastructure provider, has announced that it has received regulatory approval to make stablecoin transfers across the EU following the award of both a MiCA CASP and a PSD2 payment institution (PI) licence. The new licences make Noah one of the most regulatory-compliant stablecoin payment networks in the world, enabling customers to rely on one regulated party rather than a patchwork of local banking deals or needing to apply for, fund or maintain licences themselves.

World’s toughest regulatory regimes

This marks a major milestone for stablecoins as regulated payment infrastructure. Together, the CASP and PI licences let Noah provide regulated stablecoin services and traditional fiat payments across all 27 EU member states within a single regulated framework. Noah can hold, exchange and transfer stablecoins on behalf of customers, execute fiat payments by credit transfer, and is positioned to obtain direct access to the SEPA network. Noah secured both licences at speed: the PI licence in around one month, and the CASP licence in around two months.

Noah carries the compliance

Noah’s MiCA and PSD2 approvals extend the reach of its stablecoin network to more than 150 markets and 60 currencies, providing its customers full local regulatory compliance to convert fiat currencies to stablecoin and back. These licenses are in addition to Noah’s existing Money Transmitter Licences in place across the US and its Payment Service Provider registration in Canada.

Hardest markets first

As Noah carries the compliance load, customers can share KYC/KYB once and benefit from SOC 2 Type II audited security controls. With 40+ licences, registrations and approvals now in place, Noah supports businesses in launching stablecoin payments across three regulatory regimes – the US, Canada and the EU – in a matter of weeks, rather than the months or years it takes to achieve certain licences.

Shah Ramezani, CEO at Noah, said, "We made a bold call early: get licensed in the toughest, largest markets first. Europe, the US and Canada are now in place, and more tier-1 markets are on the way. Every licence we add today is a market our customers can launch tomorrow."

Backed by fresh funding

The milestone follows Noah's $16 million seed extension, announced on 7 October, which takes total seed funding to $38 million and will be used in part to expand its regulatory footprint. Noah has signed more than 150 new customers in 2026 across remittances, fintech, marketplaces and payroll, with year-to-date revenue up 538% on the same period in 2025.
